Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION (M8) of NAVMEDFORSUPCMD FT SAM. Responsibilities You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will generate, recommend and implement new and revised financial management concepts, internal controls, methodologies, policies and strategies in support of the organizations programs. You will promulgate approved financial management policies within the organization based on DON policy and develop and issue implementing procedures. You will plan work, set priorities and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work. You will provide tehcnical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction to subordinates. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience directing and/or performing continuing program execution, review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization; Experience preparing briefs for senior management on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas; Experience directing and/or performing budgetary operations to include formulation, preparation, presentation, and defense of various budget requests for multiple appropriations; Experience resolving issues in work environments that continually change program objectives and program requirements resulting from new legislation; Experience providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program executions.
