    Overview

    Position Summary

    Oversees and manages key essential elements of Memphis International Airport’s parking operations. Develops, recommends and implements programs, systems and procedures to ensure that operations are efficient and profitable and that they maintain the company’s reputation for servicing clients and customers with professionalism and in a manner that sets the standard of excellence in parking management. A flexible schedule, with availability to cover shifts, regardless of the day or time, is an essential element of this position.

     

    **Pay:** $20.00 - $21.00/hour

     

    The pay listed is the salary rate for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

     

    **Schedule:** Thursday - Monday 10:00pm - 6:30am

    Essential Duties:

    + Report directly to the Assistant General Manager (AGM) and/or General Manager (GM).

    + Work directly with GM and AGM to plan the position’s weekly schedule, to ensure availability for coverage at any time additional staffing is required.

    + Direct and supervise Night Operation, staff, including Shift Leads and Cashiers, Concierge, and Shuttle as necessary to accomplish daily tasks.

    + Maintain schedules to ensure appropriate coverage to meet daily operational requirements.

    + Track all absences and/or employee infractions.

    + Develop, implement, evaluate, and supervise training for all Night duties and ABM staff.

    + Develop, monitor and manage operational reports as directed.

    + Independently apply use of disciplinary guidelines as necessary to ensure correction of inappropriate behavior, including issuance of corrective actions for attendance, and/or performance deficiencies. Forms should be submitted to the AGM or GM for review, before issuance.

    + Maintain adequate documentation of all issues related to the operation.

    + Create and foster a positive work environment in which employees understand the client’s needs and operate as a team to provide a consistently high quality of service to both client and customers.

    + Develop proposals and make recommendations to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager on improving operating procedures to maximize profitability including initiating the process for the purchase of needed equipment and services.

    + All other tasks as assigned and requested by the client.

    Previous experience in customer service and management a must.

     

    Work experience in the parking industry preferred.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

     

    Excellent customer service skills.

     

    Proficient with Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook.

     

    Excellent leadership skills.

     

    Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.

     

    Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
