• AdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, women’s services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.

The ro** **le you’ll contribute:
The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for collaborating with the AdventHealth West Florida Sr. Manager of Internal Communications to develop and execute internal communications that educate, inform and impact culture within the strategic framework and initiatives of the division. Through effective storytelling that is clear, concise, and compelling, the Internal Communications Manager delivers written copy for various platforms including but not limited to, newsletter communications, email, intranet, video production, and written collateral materials that considers the various internal audiences throughout the division including executives, leaders, physicians, team members, staff and board members. The Internal Communications Manager actively builds partnerships with executive leadership, division and hospital marketing teams and team members at West Florida Division facilities and within the division corporate office.
The val** **ue you’ll bring to the team:
• Identifies internal messaging opportunities and strategies that promote brand messaging, build positive culture and team morale, and provide strategic information to team members.
• Develops and executes internal communications strategies and programs in the division while collaborating with the corporate communications team and division leadership.
• Develops appropriate internal communications tools to share key information and day-to-day stories of inspiration inside AdventHealth.
• Develops internal communications plans for strategic initiatives and campaigns identified by the Internal Communications Senior Manager in collaboration with practice, division, and hospital leaders.
• Creates and monitors master calendar to support the execution of internal communications strategy; manages the day-to-day internal communication content plans and timelines.
• Plans, develops and implements proactive internal communication content for division internal communication initiatives such as toolkits, newsletters, email messaging, FAQs, talking points, intranet posts, screensavers, lens boards and more.
• Partners and collaborates with human resources to execute global announcements and internal messages for all division employees.
• Provides copy for SharePoint, intranet (Connect) and email as well as other internal communications platforms such as newsletters, talking points, FAQs, huddle messages, CEO documents, reports, lens boards, etc. Ghost writes messages, columns, etc., for executives as needed.
Qualifications
T** **he expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
• Bachelor's in Communications, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Marketing, Advertising, Health Science or similar field.
• 5 of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, communications, internal corporate communications with proven results.
• 2 of management experience.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State.
