Description

SAIC is seeking an **Engineering Tech II** for our customer site in **North Charleston** , **SC** to support the US Navy to install cable, mounting kits and other equipment in radio rooms of new construction submarines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

+ Work with others who prepare design drawings and assist with the design, evaluation, and/or modification of machinery and equipment.

+ Research, design, develop, and test installation of new equipment.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

+ Associate degree in engineering technology, or formal electronics training from: Technical School, Class A or B Military school in electronics or communications; or High School and 2 years of related experience.

Required experience:

+ Will be responsible for creating work orders in CMPRO, putting cabling material in kits per drawings,cutting cable, and communicating with supervisors the status of a kit.

Required Clearance:

+ Must be eligible and must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start date. SAIC will sponsor your clearance. Candidates with active clearances are acceptable.

+ US Citizenship is required to meet the security requirements for this contract.
