    Pay Range $24.88-$32.34*

     

    The main duty of a Physical Therapist Assistant is to provide physical therapy services under the direct supervision of a physical therapist.

     

    A Physical Therapist Assistant must possess the following basic qualifications and skills:

    + New York State license as a Physical Therapist Assistant

    + Associates Degree from a college accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association

    + Basic computer skills

    + Ability to learn and retain moderately technical procedures

    + Good communication and organization skills

    + Ability to work in a fast pace, team-based, multi-skilled work environment

    + Enjoy working with the public
