+ Monitoring Vital Signs: Basic rooming of patients; obtain and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration), heights/weights. Updating patient medical records.
+ HIPPA Compliance: Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of patient’s protected health information (PHI) in all forms, including oral, paper, and electronic.
+ Maintaining Patient Environment: Maintaining clean and sanitary patient rooms/equipment.
+ Inventory and Supply management: Ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available in the patient rooms.
+ Communication and Collaboration: Maintaining clinic flow of the patients and clinicians in the clinic areas.
+ Patient Safety: Monitoring patient safety and reporting any issues or concerns to the care team.
+ Administrative Tasks: Answering phones and perform general office duties like scanning records/reports.
+ Scheduling and Appointments: Assisting in registering patients, verifying insurance coverages, entering referrals, booking appointments and basic triaging of patient calls.
Required:
+ HS graduate or equivalent
Preferred:
+ Previous experience in working in a healthcare setting
+ BLS certification
+ Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role
