Ensures staff members on their shift adhere to SPS policies and standard works while functioning their assigned daily roles. Maintains a thorough knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, utilization, and sterile processing. Performs a variety of processing duties including decontamination, instrument assembly, packaging, sterilization and case cart assembly. Ensures that all required daily documentation is accurate and complete to ensure that SPS is able to distribute high quality sterile products in an efficient manner to effectively meet the requirements of its customers. Works in collaboration with the OR to provide patient required instrumentation. Runs daily shift huddle and maintains Lean Board. Reports to the SPS Site Manager. * High School graduate or equivalent. * Current "Sterile Processing Distribution Technician Certification" from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution Inc.(CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CSCRT) from IAHCSMM required. * One year experience in Central Sterile Supply required. * Ability to read, write and speak English required. *Preffered Requirements * * Two (2) years of experience preferred We take great care of careers.
