Job Description:
At Regions, the Audit Data and Innovation Partner applies data, analytics, automation, innovation, and technology to support internal audit activities in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (SPPIA).
Primary Responsibilities
+ Understands business processes, risks, controls, and the concepts of risk-based auditing
+ Fosters customer service, communicating regularly and effectively with stakeholders
+ Supports the development life cycle including scoping and planning tasks and decisions
+ Completes Kanban board assignments using relevant technology with limited support
+ Applies internal audit standards and best practices, tests and documents the work performed
+ Supports continuous improvement and identifies opportunities to advance the use of data, automation, and technology
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
+ Two (2) years of relevant experience
Preferences
+ Applicable professional certifications (e.g. CIA, CISA) or progression towards one
Skills and Competencies
+ Ability to actively listen and ask questions as required to validate understanding
+ Ability to learn, research, troubleshoot, and analyze
+ Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python
+ Experience with structured, semi-structured data (e.g. relational databases, JSON, Parquet)
+ Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
+ Strong time management and prioritization skills
+ Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
+ Strong work ethic and self-motivation
_This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense._

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
