HYBRID ROLE - needs to live in Charlotte region.

The Manager Revenue Cycle Offsite Relationships is responsible for assisting in the coordination, relationship and evolution of the overall revenue cycle/patient access strategy leading multiple areas and is responsible for coordination across the regions for offsite facilities and provider based practices. Position will be responsible for assigned acute facilities patient access departments as needed. Position is directly over patient access for 3 hospitals (BALMC, COH, MHMC) + coordinates/liaison for non RCS patient access staff for all surgery centers, rehab acute departments, cancer centers. Being a liaison with our Joint Venture ASC’s and our Ambulatory facilities that do not report directly to the Revenue Cycle, the manager position will allow easy access to new regulation, compliance and corporate strategies. The manager meets and brings issues to the non-reporting Revenue Cycle facilities as well as, monitors activities within the centers allowing the Revenue Cycle to drop a clean bill every time. Within this same workflow the manager actively monitors and acts upon team member performance within assigned patient access facility departments accordingly; addresses complaints and resolves problems; and oversees those business services and suggests additional training, brings issues to the forefront and follows through to resolution. The manager also works closely with our Medquest partners to jointly make decisions for our ancillary market strategies and aligns with new, ongoing and future moves between the two entities to give Novant Health uniformity.

Qualifications

+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.

+ Experience: Seven (7) years of Revenue Cycle experience with at least five (5) of those in management with a large healthcare organization, required.

+ Additional Skills Required: Skilled in Revenue Cycle, Compliance for Revenue Cycle, Regulatory and associated reimbursement knowledge to ensure compliance within the department(s). Effective Operational Decision Making – relating and comparing; securing relevant information and identifying key issues; committing to an action after developing alternative courses of action that take into consideration resources, constraints, and organizational values. Demonstrated effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
