    Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

    The VERSANT organization is looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team! In this role, you will help support various client groups from across Entertainment, Corporate (Finance/Legal/Communications), as well as teams within Business Development, Distribution and Analytics/Insights. The HR Coordinator will perform a broad range of client support activities including employee interaction, Human Resources administration, and project work. This position is also responsible for interfacing and problem solving with several business partners such as Talent Acquisition, Finance, Benefits, Payroll, HR Operations, and Corporate Human Resources. This position will manage administrative and coordination support for the team including workflow forms, payroll processing, SAP updates, meeting/event planning and prep.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide administrative and coordination support to the VERSANT HR team, including calendar management, answering phones, travel arrangements and expenses.

    + Provide administrative and coordination support to help drive strategic HR initiatives that cut across VERSANT.

    + Provide broad support to the team, to include scheduling and setting up logistics for meetings, maintaining distribution lists and shared drives, keeping organization charts current and providing general support as needed.

    + Become a primary user for SAP HR transactions, including onboarding and off-boarding, workflow forms, regular and ad hoc reporting, security audits, and other data validation or reporting exercises.

    + Run regular and ad hoc reports from HR systems in support of the HR team.

    + Work on special projects as needed, frequently synthesizing data into a cohesive story.

    + Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion regarding business matters, data and documents.

    + Work on special assignments and projects as assigned.

    What you’ll need:

    + 1+ years of work experience

    + Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent work experience

    + Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    + Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to easily shift priorities, while demonstrating excellent follow through and attention to detail

    + Customer-service oriented and ability to quickly and accurately answer employee questions

    Eligibility Requirements:

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week.

     

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $50,000 - $65,000.
