We are currently seeking an experienced **Acute Care Nurse Practitioner** or **Physician Assistant** to join our team in **York, PA** .
What you can expect at your practice:
+ Fulltime position assisting cardiac surgeons in the operating room during complex surgical procedures
+ Performs patient rounds with accurate assessment of patient's physical status, overall progress, and current laboratory evaluation
+ Determines and orders appropriate investigative studies and therapeutic regimens as outlined by supervising physician
+ Manage postoperative care, including monitoring patients for complications, managing pain, and coordinating discharge planning
+ Experience in a cardiac surgery setting preferred; no new grads considered at this time

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
+ Masters Degree For Nurse Practitioner. Required or
+ Bachelors Degree For Physician Assistant. Required
+ Masters Degree For Physician Assistant. Preferred
Work Experience:
+ 1 year Relevant experience. Required
Licenses:
+ Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
+ Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
+ BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
+ Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners and appropriate clinical specialty certification. Upon Hire Required or
+ Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program. Upon Hire Required
