Provides inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and interventional care to patients seeking treatment for Cardiac specific issues.

We are currently seeking a board certified/board eligible interventional cardiologist to join our team in WellSpan East

What you can expect at your practice:

+ Potential for a leadership role

+ 5 state-of-the-art invasive cardiology catheterization labs

+ Mechanical support including Impella and ECMO

+ Intravascular imaging including IVUS and OCT

+ Atherectomy/plaque modification including Rotational and orbital atherectomy and intravascular lithotripsy

+ Full-time cardiac and vascular surgery

+ Two closely located hospitals with approximately 300 inpatient beds: Ephrata Community Hospital, known for blending advanced medical technology with compassionate care, and Good Samaritan Hospital, featuring an award-winning cardiac and vascular center.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

+ Board-certified or eligible for board certification through a member board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association. Upon Hire Required and

+ Completion of fellowships in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease through programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. Upon Hire Required and

+ Must qualify and be a member of the medical staff of the hospital(s) in which procedures are being performed. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Teaching skills.
