    WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a full-time **Total Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon** for their York location. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery. He or she must also be Board Certified/Board Eligible.

    Position Highlights:

    + Collegial team comprised of 13 surgeons and 11 APPs

    + 2 - 3 clinicians supporting each surgeon

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education:

    + Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

    + Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

    Licenses:

    + Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

    + Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

    Courses and Training:

    + Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Upon Hire Required and

    + Completion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required and

    + Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals. Upon Hire Required

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine.

    + Teaching skills.
