General Summary
Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in a family practice setting.
WellSpan is seeking a board certified/board eligible Family Physician to join our outpatient practice in the quaint town of East Berlin, PA. Our team of providers serves families from a large catchment area between York and Gettysburg, Hanover and Dillsburg, PA.

What you can expect at your practice:
+ Join 4 physicians and 3 APPs with high patient experience and quality scores
+ Wonderful core group of long-term staff who are family-oriented and supportive
+ Option of working a 4-day fulltime work week, Thursdays until 7pm
+ Take over a panel of patients from exiting physician in a growing market

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
+ Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
+ Completion of a Family Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Administrative skills.
Quality of Life. Established in 1800, Adams County includes the borough of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Home to more than 100,000 residents, the town is a mecca for Civil War history buffs and visitors who come to tour the Gettysburg National Battlefield and Gettysburg National Military Park and see the annual Civil War reenactment. Also located here is Gettysburg College, which has a strong academic reputation in liberal arts.
