Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in an internal medicine practice setting.

WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking a full-time **_Internist_** for their Carlisle practice in suburban/rural Cumberland County. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Internal Medicine. He or she must also be Board Certified/Board Eligible.

+ Patient population: mix of young, middle-aged adults and seniors

+ WellSpan now utilizes **DAX - Dragon Ambient experience.** DAX is an artificial intelligence scribe that ambiently listens to the patient visit and generates a clinical note into the EPIC EHR for the provider

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

+ Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

+ Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Administrative skills.
