Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in an internal medicine practice setting.

WellSpan Health is seeking a board eligible/ board certified internal medicine physician to join our growing outpatient practice in Chambersburg, PA. Elevate your career while enjoying the best of both professional and personal worlds.

Position Highlights:

+ Join a team of 3 providers and a strong support staff at our well known practice

+ Patient population consists of a combination of older and geriatric individuals, while the more recently acquired patients tend to be younger in age.

+ Office hours are 8am - 5pm; great for work/ home balance

+ We have 2 locations: Chambersburg and Fayetteville, PA. Lab in Chambersburg

+ Nursing home coverage is rotated and minimal

+ Epic EMR utilized at all WellSpan locations

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and

+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

+ Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and

+ Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Administrative skills.
