WellSpan Medical Group seeks full-time Physician, Pediatrician for their WellSpan Pediatric Medicine - East Market Street location in York County. Individual must be a graduate of accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree plus completion of pediatric residency training program. Must have PA medical license and be Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Medicine. Will provide outpatient care services to infants, children and young adults ages 17 and younger. Will evaluate pediatric patients and conduct thorough examinations. Diagnose illnesses while providing guidance to parents. Will prescribe medications and administer vaccinations. Will monitor child's growth and development and treat acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Will refer patients to specialists when necessary. Qualifications
Minimum Education:
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
+ Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
+ Completion of a Pediatric residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Administrative skills.
