General Summary
Provides clinical and administrative services involving primary medical care to patients in an internal medicine practice setting.
WellSpan Medical Group is seeking a part-time Internist for their York location. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Internal Medicine. He or she must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible if a resident.
Position Highlights:
+ BC/BE Internist to provide full-time, outpatient care
+ The care team is comprised of seven physicians and three CRNPs
+ Monday - Friday office hourswith some evenings
+ Patient population includes many WellSpan Health employees
+ State-of-the-art suburban office centrally located in South York
+ Practice has achieved NCQA recognition as a Patient Centered Medical Home

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required and
+ Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
+ Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
+ Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required

+ Administrative skills.
