General Summary
Works collaboratively with patients and obstetricians to direct medical care for patients with acute and chronic health problems that may place them at high risk for maternal, fetal, or other pregnancy complications. The Physician will provide consultative inpatient care for women who need to be hospitalized during pregnancy. Physicians will work with obstetricians who request transport of patients to our tertiary care facilities. They will participate in Maternal-Fetal Medicine education and teaching programs, and assist in the review of the quality, adequacy and appropriateness of services within the department.
WellSpan is seeking a **PRN Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician** to join our established practice in York, PA. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He or she must also be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Position Highlights:
+ Full consultative practice only. No Deliveries.
+ Ultrasound Units with AIUM accredited team of Sonographers trained in Obstetric and Fetal Echocardiograph.
+ Dedicated team of genetics counselors and a diabetes management team inclusive of a diabetes educator, nutritionist and diabetes para-professional.
+ Enjoy working and collaborating with 20 OB/GYN residents.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
+ Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
+ Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
+ Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
+ Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
+ Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Upon Hire Required and
+ Subspecialty Certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Upon Hire Required and
+ Completion of an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. Upon Hire Required and
+ Completion of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. Upon Hire Required and
+ Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of WellSpan Hospitals. Upon Hire Required
