    Annual Salary: $65,000 P o s i tion S u m ma r y : T he Mobile Response Team ( MRT) Therapist i s responsible f or therapeutic crisis stabilization intervention and crisis prevention services i n the Brevard Cou n t y System of Care i n a variety of home and comm u ni t y settings. This position provides immediate response for fa m ily stabilization and follow‐up support for people in communi t y . T h e Mobile Resp o nse Te a m is co-located with and works collaboratively with the Melbou r ne Police D e par t ment. This position maintains informat i on r e garding the environm e nt of cu r r e nt s ervices to en s ure a fle x ible, responsive, culturally competent se rv ice delivery system. *This position utilizes a rotating two-week cycle known as a Pitman Schedule which consists of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and finally 3 days off. This position works every other weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; the therapist will then be off for the next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. One working day of this two-week cycle is selected by the therapist to be an 8-hour working day. T e c h n ical / F u nctio n al Ex p e ctations: 1. M RTs are design e d to a d dress a wide v ariety of situat i ons, i n cludi n g suicidal and homicidal behaviors, i n d i v iduals display i ng halluc i nati o ns, family/peer conflicts and disruptive behaviors. The M RT c a n b e the first on t he sc e ne or m ay b e c alled b y law e nfo r ce m ent. M RTs are dispat c hed to t he location of a c r isis with a target response time of one hour from the time of t he call.
