Senior Aviation Military Analyst - Cargo Helicopters

Overview:

JHNA is seeking a talented Senior Aviation Military Analyst to support our government customer within the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) at Fort Novosel, AL. This work will provide the Aviation Capability Development and Integration Directorate (A-CDID) support for Army Capability Managers (ACMs), Reconnaissance and Attack (R/A), UAS, and Concepts Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) Experimentation and Modernization activities.

Roles/Responsibilities:

+ Evaluate cargo platform operational employment and requirements

+ Analyze modernization paths for platforms like CH-47

+ Coordinate DOTmLPF-P working groups and aviation assessments

+ Lead system-level evaluations and technology demonstrations

+ Contribute to acquisition life cycle from requirement to fielding

+ Analyze capability gaps across cargo mission sets

+ Participate in JCIDS development and force design planning

+ Conduct comparative analysis of current vs. emerging systems

+ Author test plans and technical assessments supporting T&E

Qualifications Required:

+ SECRET clearance required

+ 15+ years cargo aviation experience; Senior/Master Aviator

+ SIP/IP in cargo formations; CGSC/ILE or equivalent

+ Test pilot/examiner preferred; 5+ years in combat development

+ Authored JCIDS documentation and led CBA working groups
