Vice President, Post-Merger Integration (PMI) Arcwood, under EQT's ownership, is on a bold trajectory to triple our business within five years, with M&A serving as a cornerstone of our growth strategy. We are seeking an exceptional Post-Merger Integration (PMI) leader to join our fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This role ensures the seamless integration of acquired companies, translating strategic M&A objectives into operational success. Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CSTO), the PMI leader will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive planning, execution, and performance-tracking across functional workstreams - ultimately maximizing value creation from each transaction.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on PMI experience and be comfortable leading cross-functional integration workstreams in a PE-backed environment. They should have a deep understanding of best practices for integrating companies - across business processes, systems, organizational structures, and project management - as well as synergy realization, value creation, and cultural integration. This leader will come well equipped with a proven integration playbook, ready to be adapted to Arcwood's context and scaled across a range of transactions, from small tuck-ins to large, strategic acquisitions.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
+ Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
+ Pre-close, collaborates with M&A and Finance teams to identify value creation opportunities, set synergy targets, and define key performance indicators
+ Post-close, works with Operations and Commercial leaders to deliver critical value creation initiatives to meet or exceed deal thesis expectations
+ Leads end-to-end integration planning & execution; pre-close, conducts PMI risk assessment as input to deal go / no-go decision
+ Pre- and post-close, develops comprehensive integration strategies and delivers against detailed execution plans aligned with deal thesis and long-term value drivers
+ Coordinates across Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Operations, and other functions to ensure seamless execution, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
+ Implements tracking mechanisms to measure progress, optimize post-close activities, and ensure accountability
+ Partners with HR and business leaders to align teams, harmonize culture, and drive employee engagement throughout the integration process
+ Continuously improves Arcwood's PMI framework, ensuring repeatable, scalable integrations - from small tuck-in acquisitions to large strategic deals
+ Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree (required)
+ MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred)
Experience:
+ 5+ years of experience in M&A integration, management consulting, corporate development, or large-scale program management (required)
+ Demonstrated success leading post-merger integrations in high-growth or multi-acquisition environments (required)

Competencies:
+ Deep understanding of integration challenges, including change management, process alignment and business function synergies
+ Strong business acumen and exceptional organizational and analytical skills

+ Proven ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
+ Ability to lead through influence and to balance interactions with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
+ Strategic mindset and value creation focus while able to define and drive tactical actions
+ Strong cultural awareness and interpersonal skills; ability to remain calm under pressure and diffuse conflicts
+ Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
