    Work Schedule - TEMPORARY POSITION: Flexible schedule between 24 and 32 hours. Schedule must be between operating hours of Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm.

     

    A Day in the Life of a Physical Therapist at The Arc Wayne:

    + Provides physical therapy services per New York State Part 679 Regulations for Clinic participants as assigned

    + May provide services to a person through their collateral for the purposes of enhancing the effectiveness of the treatments enabling the person to remain in the family or placement setting

    + Completes timely and accurate service documentation

    + Researches and recommends training/exercise programs, devices, assistive/adaptive equipment and other related technology as required and shares recommendations

    Who We Are Looking For:

    + NYS Licensed Physical Therapist

    + A Valid New York State Driver's License that meets Agency Driver standards

    + This position requires enrollment as a Medicare provider by obtaining and providing to Arc Wayne a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number and provider Transaction Access Number (PTAN) issued by the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES); and to actively participate to allow for services to be billed through Medicare and/or Medicaid.
