+ NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Sr Data Analytics Developer (Raleigh/RTP/east coast preferred) to support their team as a Senior Data Analytics/PBI Developer/Administrator.

+ NTT DATA's Client's organization is embarking on a transformative data initiative aimed at modernizing their data architecture and enhancing their analytics capabilities. This project involves transitioning from traditional data solutions (Informatica, Data Warehouse, Cognos, Dataflows, and Power BI) to a cutting-edge, integrated architecture leveraging Databricks, Unity Catalog, Fabric, and Power BI.

The primary objective is to create a scalable, efficient, and robust data environment that supports advanced analytics and real-time decision-making. This includes:

+ Architectural Transition: Moving from existing data solutions to a modern architecture with Databricks and Data Lake at the core, integrated with Power BI/Fabric for visualization and reporting.

+ Nested Semantic Models: Implementing nested semantic models to ensure data consistency and reusability across reports and dashboards.

+ DevOps Integration: Shifting to a DevOps approach with a modular code base backed by Git, enabling multiple developers to make simultaneous enhancements and ensuring continuous integration and delivery.

+ Team Collaboration: Enhancing collaboration between onshore and offshore resources to maintain development throughput and ensure seamless architectural changes. This role will lead the efforts, with the offshore resource serving as a crucial backup. Responsibilities will include assigning tasks according to priority, oversight of solution design, and coaching junior developers in skill development.

+ This project is critical for our organization's strategic goals, aiming to improve data reliability, accessibility, streamline workflows, and deliver actionable insights that drive business success. The Senior Data Analytics Developer will play a pivotal role in leading these efforts, ensuring that the architecture and development processes are optimized for scalability, performance, and agility.

+ Role Scope / Deliverables: -Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

+ Architect and implement data solutions, including the transition from Informatica/Data Warehouse/Cognos/Dataflows/PBI to Databricks/Data Lake/Unity Catalog/Fabric/PBI.

+ Develop and manage data pipelines, dataflows, and ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.

+ Utilize advanced DAX coding to create calculated columns, measures, and complex data models, with a focus on nested semantic modeling.

+ Manage and optimize premium capacity and gateway configurations to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

+ Define and implement monitoring systems for key KPIs to ensure consistent achievement of SLAs for data products.

+ Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights.

+ Develop and maintain modular code bases backed by Git to enable multiple developers to make simultaneous enhancements.

+ Implement DevOps practices to streamline development and operational processes, ensuring high-quality and reliable data solutions.

+ Oversee the work of other developers, assigning tasks from the Jira queue and advising on solution design.

+ Maintain and enhance the data lake and data warehouse environments to support robust data storage and retrieval capabilities.

+ Guide the team through architectural changes and ensure alignment with the target architecture.

+ Lead team meetings, prioritize tasks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

+ Oversee the work of other developers, assigning tasks from the Jira queue and advising on solution design.

+ Coach and mentor junior developers, fostering skill development and professional growth.

+ Provide oversight of solution design, including code review, to ensure alignment with architectural goals and best practices.

Key Skills:

+ Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI and related technologies.

+ Proven expertise in solution architecture and advanced data modeling techniques.

+ Strong understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures.

+ Experience with Gen2 Dataflows, data pipeline management, Fabric, and Databricks. Direct experience with Databricks and Fabric is highly desirable, but equivalent work experience and the ability to learn new skills can suffice.

+ Proficiency in managing premium capacity and gateway configurations.

+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

+ Experience with DevOps practices and modular code development.
