Job Summary
Executes plans to ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials to support production schedule, based on the ERP system. Interacts and coordinates with plant operation, corporate purchasing, and QA. Provide regular status reporting and ensure proper follow up of supplier orders and logistics. Monitor and maintain all data elements of the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) to ensure MRP system inputs drive the desired material flow plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Conducts daily reviews of shortages and expedites to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
+ Participates in the production planning process and communicates with production and other functions to meet customer commitments.
+ Ensure execution of stocking and planning levels for the network and in alignment with financial goals.
+ Work with Logistics, Procurement, and other departments to ensure on time delivery of product and resolve unanticipated demands.
+ Supports business process improvement strategies and/or initiatives across the supply chain network in coordination with Center of Excellence (CoE)
+ Assist with root cause analysis for supply chain issues/constraints/process gaps and drive corrective actions.
+ Assists in the development of production, inventory and material plans in coordination with the regional planner/s.
+ Coordinates cycle counting activities to ensure proper inventory management (physical inventory properly reflected in SAP)
+ As part of the Lean manufacturing program, manages the upkeep of both the demand and supply volume/variability analyses.
+ Works with the strategic supply planner to develop and maintain a program to manage raw material sourcing routine for an optimal balance between inventory, and transportation cost.
+ Supports purchasing in planning for raw materials conversations.
+ Tracks actual production and inventory to plan interpret variances and institute corrective action.
+ Tracks/disposition slow moving and obsolete inventory.

+ Performs other duties, as assigned based on business needs.
+ Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
+ Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.
Education
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or business-related field required
Work Experience
+ 0-3 Years Experience in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business.
+ Highly proficient PC skills
+ Excellent Analytical skills
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Basic knowledge of master production schedule and MRP
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office
+ Experience with MEP or ERP software. Preferably, some experience with a Manufacturing Execution system, APICS, Lean Manufacturing and SAP.

5%: Up to 13 business days per year
Physical Requirements
Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
