    American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is a leading B2B solutions provider for businesses and corporations of all sizes. The Marketing Strategy & Content team is responsible for producing and informing compelling, insight-driven marketing that cohesively showcases the holistic value of American Express to business customers. We do this by deepening B2B brand engagement, enabling exceptional marketing, and delivering breakthrough go-to-market strategies.

     

    How will you make an impact in this role?

     

    The Senior Manager, SEO Content Strategy and Production, is responsible for developing editorial content that captures SEO traffic to drives awareness of and engagement with American Express business products and services among prospects and customers. This content brings a valuable audience of prospects and customers to our ecosystem where we can connect them with relevant Amex B2B products & services. They will be leading one Analyst.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Own and lead the development and execution of B2B editorial content to support =business marketing priorities

    + Project manage end-to-end content programs, including mining audience, keywords, and performance insights; developing a content strategy and creative approach,; navigating internal marketing review processes; working with the go-to-market team on deliverables;, and post-campaign reporting

    + Partner with go-to-market and measurement team to develop and execute owned and earned distribution strategy to support awareness and engagement goals for content and track performance

    + Collaborate with SEO Enterprise team to inform strategy and share updates that impact broader enterprise organic site goals

    + Collaborate with and manage external agency partners responsible for supporting strategy, content development, and measurement

    + Manage one direct report, who supports content development and execution, and lead their development

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or content development

    + Collaborative marketer with experience developing compelling content strategies and deliverables

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Strong background in SEO preferred, including experience collaborating with UX and product teams

    + Strong analytical skills to support reporting on content performance and distribution

    + Appetite for innovation and comfort in white space, capable distilling complex programs into clear, thorough, and impact-oriented content plans

    + Driven by tight timelines, with a proven track record of bringing multi-channel, multi-stakeholder programs to life

    + Ability to proactively identify and solve for compliance and production complexity

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to leadership

    + Exceptional project management and critical thinking skills to flexibly manage creative plans to align with enterprise strategies, internal processes, and production realities

    Qualifications

    Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
