_This role is categorized as_ **_HYBRID_** _. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Warren - Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits._
The **Senior Field Operations Manager (FOM)** is responsible for providing leadership, support, and operational expertise to the Regional SSM Team. The Senior FOM is the Subject Matter Expert for the Region on various programs and works with program leads from Central Office on a regular basis. The FOM position requires a very good understanding of Zone Team and dealership operations. This role provides a great opportunity for the employee to gain experience and exposure across a broad spectrum of programs while interacting with Regional Directors, Zone Teams, Regional staff, and Central Office staff.
Role Responsibilities:
The Senior FOM contributes to GM’s overall performance by driving process efficiencies, generating impactful communications, assisting in developing others, and executing in key areas such as:
Recruiting and vetting Dealer candidates
+ Recruit well qualified new candidates
+ Assist candidates through the Vetted & Approved Candidate application processes
+ Guide candidates through the Regional and National Panel interviews, as needed, to become formally vetted and approved by GM
Dealer Performance Improvement
+ Provide support to the NCR Zone Teams to drive the performance
+ Work closely with the Dealer Network and Dealer Contractual teams to ensure the successful selection and activation of our newest GM dealers
+ Work with regional leadership, zone teams, and GM’s central office team in the administration of the GM’s dealer performance improvement program
+ Manage communication and timelines with zone teams to ensure legal compliance and to meet all contractual deadlines
Coordination and Assessment of New Dealer Activation processes
+ Lead the New Dealer Activation Process by working cross-functionally to ensure the coordination of on-site activities and successful onboarding of new dealers as related to systems, tools, resources, and program activation
+ Drive efficiencies and develop communication strategies to improve upon existing processes
Field Employee Onboarding & Immersion
+ Assist the zone teams in new field employee immersion
+ Provide and recommend subject matter experts to assist with their development and training
Cross Channel Programs, Tools, Communication and Event coordination
+ Coordination and Logistical responsibility of Cross Channel Meetings including annual Professional Development Days (“PDD”)
+ Subject Matter Expert for the Region on Cross Channel programs
+ Provide Zone Teams with direction on program guidelines and dealership compliance
Additional Job Description
Role Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree required - business, Marketing, or related area preferred
+ 7+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, or related area
+ 2+ years of experience with direct dealer contact and/or dealership operations
+ Ability to learn or knowledge of system tools (i.e., Global Connect, GM Common Training, SFE, MOE, EBE, DART, CSI, Compass)
+ Ability to work effectively on complex issues and create solutions to drive the business forward
+ Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills for all levels of the enterprise
+ Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills and strong business acumen
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and projects to successful completion
+ Ability to analyze, evaluate, and make data driven decisions at a high level and advise leadership
+ Ability to learn or possess good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of Zone Teams, dealership operations, including business management and financial data
This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis. A company vehicle will be provided for this role with successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review.
