    Job Description:

    Collaborates with the obstetrical medical and nursing leadership at MCIC member institutions to promote a culture of patient safety and adherence to national clinical standards utilizing the principles and practice of the science of safety. Serves as a visible and recognized advocate for patient safety in clinical areas.

    Salary Range:

    $87,360-$112,033.

    Job Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    Education: BSN required, Master’s Degree in Nursing and/or Graduate degree preferred. Experience: 3-5 years combined clinical / leadership experience; significant obstetrical clinical experience with progressive responsibility and accountability; strong knowledge base and clinical skills in electronic fetal monitoring, labor, birth, and high-risk obstetrics.Current NYS RN license; NCC/PQF Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification preferred (required within 6 months of hire); certification in Specialty preferred. Strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail; effective project management skills; strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to be a self-starter and work independently; ability to promote and foster collaboration among team members. Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint. Project management skills, including the ability to identify stakeholders, plan steps, coordinate and allocate resources to accomplish goals and objectives in a timely manner. A working knowledge of regulatory and operational guidelines that govern the clinical setting. Teamstepps Trainer level attained within 12 months of hire
