    SUMMARY

    Cleans and sanitizes according to EVS procedures and policies. Performs special cleaning/EVS procedures.

    SOME SPECIFIC DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

    + Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I and Tech II.

    + Understands all waste types and is able to dispose of it in correct manner.

    + Collects Infectious and Hazardous Waste from all areas and prepares it for pick up.

    + Demonstrates knowledge of different floor types and has ability to scrub, burnish and refinish floors

    + Perform and instruct cleaning procedures according to procedures.

    + Hang cubicle and window curtains.

    + Utilize paging system and spectra link phones.

    + Utilize HEV system

    + Routinely clean isolation rooms

    + Ability to work without constant supervision

    + Help with inventory and control of supplies.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate.

    + Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instruction.

    + 1-2 Years’ Experience in Environmental Services or Related Field Required.
