The Role

The Manager Business Operations, RoB (Rhythm of Business) is critical in the new Business Operations & Rhythm of Business team, reporting to the Senior Director, Bus Ops & RoB. This role leads the strategy and program management for Segment Reviews, Business Performance Dashboards, and RoB-based Insights and Action Tracking. This leader will work with the Director through Vice President-level leaders across Lumen to ensure effective preparation and meetings that help to identify and resolve key business challenges to achieving/exceeding the budget in each customer segment. The Manager of Business Operations, RoB, will ensure that all programs are executed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with Lumen’s strategic objectives.

The Main Responsibilities

+ Program manage a series of executive business reviews (Segment Reviews) and all associated data and insights on behalf of the company.

+ Serve as a liaison between Product, Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment across the RoB process.

+ Analyzing business operations processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, then designing and implementing process improvements to streamline workflows and increase effectiveness.

+ Analyze business performance across Segments and highlight key insights, share best practices, and drive a common understanding of success.

+ Interface with leadership and act as a sounding board for improvements. Demonstrate confidence in leading an executive business review program operations function across Lumen teams.

+ Lead a team of Business Operations experts to drive effective RoB meetings and follow-on actions

+ Facilitate operational meetings with the organization on behalf of leadership.

+ Facilitating meetings with stakeholders and decision makers.

+ Additional duties as required by the business.

What We Look For in a Candidate

+ Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of related business operations management experience.

+ Proven experience in sales, sales operations, business operations, finance, or marketing operations within a complex GTM environment.

+ The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial strategy, business performance, and/or finance, and GTM/marketing motions

+ Possesses strong leadership skills and exhibits managerial courage.

+ Excellent collaboration and effective listening skills.

+ Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.

+ Proven ability to present information to various levels in organizations.

+ Understanding of project management.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.

$108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.

$114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
