BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Mental Health Technician Regular Pool** to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

Mental Health Technician Regular Pool Position Details:

+ **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Emergency Service-MDH

+ **Location:** Mease Dunedin S

+ tatus: Pool, Exempt: No

+ **Shift Hours:** 7:00 am-7:00 pm

+ **Weekend Work:** Occasional

+ **On Call:** No

The Mental Health Technician Regula Pool Responsibilities:

+ Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

+ Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

+ Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

+ Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Required Certification/Licensures:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

+ Patient Care Technician - preferred

Required Education:

+ High School or Equivalent

+ Associate's degree in related field - Preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred

Preferred **Experience:**

+ 6 months – Psychology

+ Or, 6 months - Emergency Medical Technician

+ Or, 6 months - Paramedic

+ **Preferred:** 1 year - Unit Secretary
