    The Lab Quality and Education Coordinator is responsible for:

    + Assuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements

    + Provides education and competency documentation

    + Implement and maintain the Laboratory Quality Improvement Program

    + Investigates, collects and analyzes data and communicates outcomes to improve patient care

    + Obtains accurate and timely compilation of laboratory data

    + Formats QA QI spreadsheets and maintains files and reports for laboratory administration

    + Develops education offerings, coordinates education activities, monitors team member compliance to mandatory training

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Education:

    + Bachelor's in Clinical Laboratory Science or Related Field.

    Credentials:

    + State of Florida License for Clinical Laboratory Personnel in Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Clinical Chemistry, Immunohematology, Serology, Microbiology and Hematology) or Cytogenetics. May be a Technologist or Supervisor in the listed Clinical Laboratory Personnel licenses mentioned.

    + Preferred Histologist License
