What You Will Do
The Regional Flow Specialist is responsible for working with the entire supply chain to ensure a smooth flow of product through the RDC network. The RFS utilizes Host and DMS systems to provide problem resolution, monitor possible flow issues, provide feedback for improvement of product flow, and is responsible for effectively communicating flow issues to the appropriate supply chain department. This role provides special reporting for seasonal and special programs and staffs the Emergency Command Center as needed. The RFS is responsible for managing flow processes through several Regional Distribution Centers. The RFS must have a flexible schedule to provide coverage for RDC’s needs across the network as they are open.
_Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular overnight travel._
What We're Looking For
+ Required to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the assigned facilities.
+ May be asked to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and/or weekends based on the needs of the facility.
+ If onsite, works in a distribution/warehouse environment with the physical and environmental aspects typically associated with such environment. Working remotely is a possibility for this role.
What You Need To Succeed
_Minimum Qualifications_
+ 2 years post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
+ Or Working knowledge of DC operations, receiving, shipping, planning functions including DMS screens, DMS pocket, and Workflow.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office or warehouse/distribution management software
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adaptable to change
+ Experience mentoring, coaching or training others and resolving conflict
+ Experience monitoring the work of others to ensure quality standards are met
+ Proven record of complying with safety requirements
_Preferred Qualifications_
+ 4 years post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field
+ Adept user of Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Pocket and/or Lowe’s Distribution Management System (DMS) system
+ Experience in forecasting and demand planning management and/or incorporating data science into analysis and forecasts.
+ Bi-lingual skills, if applicable to the facility
