**BAYADA Home Health Care** is currently seeking an experienced **Certified Home Health Aide, CHHA** or **Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA** for a **per diem** opportunity. This is a Medicare certified office that utilizes CNAs to assist with bathing for clients 1-2 times/week. We care for clients throughout **Davidson County** and pay is based on a per visit rate. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

A Home Health Aide must:

+ Have at least one year of work experience as a Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide

+ **Must be listed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry.**

+ Have successfully completed a recognized Home Health Aide training course and be certified to work as a Home Health Aide

+ Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English

+ Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

+ Have a criminal background check completed

+ Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides:

+ Bathing

+ Grooming

+ Toileting

+ Nail care

+ Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

+ Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

+ Assisting with ambulation while performing bathing assistance
