Description

In this position as an Administrative Care Partner/Unit Secretary, you will work under direct supervision of the 4E nurse managers to:

+ High School Diploma/GED certificate

+ Provide clerical support to the Administrative Nurse of the designated unit.

+ Help with phone calls and call lights

+ Help with admission/discharge process

+ Assist patient with admission procedure, during transfer procedure, with discharge procedure.

Salary Range: $25.30-$33.35Qualifications

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

+ Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations, preferred.

+ Recent ward clerk and/or appropriate clerical experience in an acute hospital environment, preferred.

+ Skill in evaluating and reporting various kinds of emergent information pertinent to the functioning of an inpatient care unit.

+ Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner when there are competing requirements and a heavy workload.
