Description:
The Home Health WOCN RN is a registered nurse with specialized training and certification in wound care, ostomy care, and continence management. This position provides expert nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of complex wound care needs.
The WOCN RN collaborates with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients/families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification required
. • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant clinical setting (e.g., hospital, long-term care, home health).
• Prior experience in wound care, ostomy care, and/or continence management preferred.
