Automation Engineer, AI Studio at Marriott

Position Overview

Own **enterprise-grade AI automation** —from risk evaluation to workflow acceleration. You will design agent-driven test, release, and compliance pipelines **and** build internal copilots that eliminate repetitive engineering work.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain **synthetic, adversarial, and jailbreak** suites to probe bias, toxicity, factuality.

+ Architect **agent-powered automation** that:

+ • triggers evaluation loops (OpenAI Evals / PromptBench / custom) in CI,

+ • assembles artefacts for the self-cert repository,

+ • generates regression data slices on demand.

+ Build developer-facing **copilots/bots** (e.g., PR reviewers, log analyzers) integrated through MCP servers.

+ Extend guardrail engines with custom regex, embedding filters, and semantic policies; expose live risk dashboards.

+ Partner with Engineering Lead to convert manual runbooks into fully automated, agent-driven workflows.

Qualifications

+ 5 yrs automation, Dev Tools, or SRE; 2 + yrs LLM evaluation or agent-framework work.

+ Proficient in Python/TypeScript and CI systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI).

+ Hands-on with agent frameworks (Autogen, CrewAI, LangGraph) **or** RPA/orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow).

+ Demonstrated record delivering measurable productivity or risk-reduction via AI automation.

Preferred Skills

+ Contributions to open-source guardrail or agent-automation projects.

+ Experience rolling out continuous risk-scoring in SOC-2 / PCI environments.

The pay range for this position is $40.81 to $67.98 per hour.

**Washington Applicants Only:** Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
