    + **Schedule:** Full-time, Day, 10 hour shifts x4 weekly, rotating day off. 2 nights of call every other week, and every 6th weekend, rotating

    Responsibilities

    Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform active physiological monitoring of heart rate, rhythm, pressures, and saturations. Anticipatechanges during cases that indicate necessary information, such as catheter position. Accuratelyidentify and communicate patient condition changes to the physician and team.

    + Routinely perform patient testing and/or monitoring to include oxygen saturation, cardiac output,shunting, hemodynamic calculations and other intra-procedure testing and resulting as applicable.

    + Demonstrate knowledge and variation of procedures, including the equipment/supplies used forperformance. Demonstrate proper handling, preparation, and maintain asepsis.

    + Anticipate and adapt to physician and case needs.

    + Assist with room setup, patient transport and post-procedure clean-up. Ensure infection control andsharp safety procedures are followed regarding waste and reusable products.

    + Perform patient education regarding post-procedure monitoring and care of catheter insertion site.Provide instructions and information regarding activity including normal, variant and issues requiringintervention.

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

    + One or more of the following required:

    + Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular CredentialingInternational (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the CardiovascularCredentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

    + Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. LicensedRadiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts must be held concurrently.

    + Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained priorto hire date or job transfer date.

    + Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

    + Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

    Education:

    + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

     

    Additional Preferences

     

    Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Kansas

     

    Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred, but not required
