Job Title: Project Manager – Regulated Environment (Non-IT)
Pay Rate: $62–$65/hour (W2)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a **seasoned Project Manager** with **7+ years of experience** to lead multidimensional, mission-critical projects in a **regulated, non-IT environment** . This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage documentation and deliverables in support of product remediation within a **Regulatory Affairs setting** . You will **not have direct reports** , but must demonstrate the ability to lead without authority, holding team members accountable and driving project success across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
+ Direct and manage all facets of project lifecycle: planning, execution, monitoring, and completion
+ Collaborate with sponsors, business units, and stakeholders to define project scope and ensure alignment
+ Lead 15–20 cross-functional team members in delivering documentation for remediation projects
+ Schedule and facilitate weekly core team meetings to ensure progress toward timelines and deliverables
+ Track and report project progress to senior leadership (Director level)
+ Utilize tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, and MS Office Suite for planning, tracking, and documentation
+ Drive accountability and ensure adherence to defined project timelines and quality expectations
+ Provide leadership and guidance in a structured but non-Agile/Waterfall environment
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree required
+ 7+ years of project management experience, ideally in a **regulated** industry (medical device or pharmaceutical strongly preferred)
+ Proven experience leading projects without direct authority
+ Strong understanding of project management best practices, including documentation and compliance activities
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ High attention to detail, planning, and organizational capability
+ Experience reporting to and collaborating with senior management
+ Proficient in MS Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
+ Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus but not required
