    The Opportunity

    In this critical leadership role in Black & Veatch’s world class consulting organization, you will have the opportunity to:

    + Coordinate and drive growth in our Growth Markets, including but not limited to data center, manufacturing, transportation, distributed infrastructure, agriculture, etc., in collaboration with the Solution Leaders, Sector/Segment Leaders and Sales Leaders as appropriate.

    + Build strong strategic relationships with Sector/Segment Leadership and Solution Leadership.

    + Develop strategic vision and go to market plan for the designated market(s) to drive significant and sustained profitable growth.

    The Team

    **Black & Veatch’s Infrastructure Advisory** business offers an integrated portfolio of strategic consulting and operation resiliency services that apply across the client’s entire investment-to-operations lifecycle commitments. Included are Strategic Advisory, Industrial Cybersecurity, and Operating Assets.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Develop strategic relationship between Infrastructure Advisory (IA) Growth Markets and the rest of BV Sector / Segments and relevant Solution PortfoliosUnderstand Market Trends, key issues, buying practices (paint bigger picture & link our solutions to the future)

    + Develop and execute IA Growth Markets Strategic Go-To-Market plan

    + Drive industry/client insights into IA’s solution portfolio offerings

    + Lead BV growth aspirations in the Markets

    + Develop and foster internal (Client Segment Leader) & external (Clients) relationships

    + Participate in and influence relevant BV key account planning and drive IA’s Growth Markets account strategy and planning

    + Influence marketing activity, market presence, & client positioning

    + Trusted advisor to BV Client Segment Leaders for where, what and how to focus on strategic development, and collaborate to drive market specific direction for long term success

    + Maintain connection to BV enterprise sales and account management approaches

    + Responsible for driving market vertical pipeline management

    Management Responsibilities

    Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Typically 12-15+ years in a business/consulting environment.

    + 10+ years of direct industry and/or consulting experience in the industries within the Growth Markets

    + 8+ years experience in one or more solution areas (delivery or development)

    + Master’s degree preferred.

    + Certifications related to area of expertise, where applicable preferred

    + Comprehensive market understanding and awareness (current and future), with understanding of specific client needs

    + Extensive experience in working with C-Suite executive in strategic development and advisory capacity

    + In-depth understanding of Black & Veatch Solutions and sub-offerings

    + Experience articulating the business need for and provide strategic direction on developing innovative solutions for existing and prospective clients

    + Marketing and Business Development experience in successfully developing a new market and/or practice

    + Pursuit strategy development and management experience

    + Demonstrated ability to work with/adapt to varying disciplines and cross-functional teams

    + Master’s degree preferred

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience

    + Typically 15+ years in a business/consulting environment

    + Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously

    + Contributor or leader to acquire new engagements
