    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our complex network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of network principles, security best practices, and cloud networking technologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network environment, both on-premises and in Azure.

    Responsibilities:

    - Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable network architectures to meet current and future business needs

     

    - Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

     

    - Architect, configure, and maintain firewall infrastructure to enforce security policies and protect against cyber threats.

     

    - Implement and manage network security measures, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and access controls.

     

    - Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the OSI model and its application in network design and troubleshooting.

     

    - Plan, implement, and support core network services, including DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM).

     

    - Design, deploy, and manage cloud network connectivity.

     

    - Design, implement, support and mature secure cloud architecture selecting appropriate cloud services and configurations to minimize vulnerabilities.

     

    - Implement cloud data protection measures

     

    - Monitor and mitigate security threats

     

    - Ensure compliance with regulations

     

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems and business applications.

     

    - Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

     

    - Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements and enhancements.

     

    - Provide technical guidance and mentorship.

     

    - Participate in on-call rotation as needed to support critical network infrastructure.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology OR equivalent experience

     

    - Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture roles.

     

    - Proven expertise in troubleshooting complex network issues across various layers of the OSI model.

     

    - Strong understanding and hands-on experience managing and configuring firewall technologies.

     

    - Solid foundation in network security principles and best practices.

     

    - In-depth knowledge and practical experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.

     

    - Experience designing and managing network infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.

     

    - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal)

     

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

     

    - Industry recognized information security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP - Experience with the Fortinet suite of products (e.g., FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)

     

    - Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Azure Network Engineer Associate).

     

    - Certified Cloud Engineer - cloud computing
