Our client, a leading organization in the educational sector, is seeking a Library Science Writer to join their team. As a Library Science Writer, you will be part of the academic research programs supporting the development of high-quality curricular materials. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and editing skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for making complex information accessible and engaging for learners.
**Job Title:** Library Science Writer
**Location:** Stanford, CA (In-person for weekly brainstorming/white-boarding meetings)
What's the Job?
+ Organize and curate educational content for academic research programs.
+ Apply information literacy principles to enhance the accessibility of materials.
+ Collaborate with faculty and instructional teams to develop engaging curricular content.
+ Edit and refine educational materials to ensure clarity and effectiveness.
+ Participate in weekly brainstorming sessions to foster innovative ideas.
What's Needed?
+ A degree in Library and Information Science.
+ Demonstrated experience in organizing and curating educational or research materials.
+ Strong understanding of information literacy principles and metadata standards.
+ Familiarity with learning management systems and instructional design tools.
+ Experience collaborating with faculty or instructional teams is highly desirable.
