Staff Engineer - Electrical Safety
- ManpowerGroup (Fridley, MN)
-
We are working on a unique opportunity with a global testing and certification company that supports a wide range of product safety standards across multiple industries.
This role is great for someone with 4-6+ years of experience who likes variety in their day. You’d be mentoring other engineers, helping shape test procedures, guiding standards work, and leading projects with real technical impact. It’s a hands-on leadership role where your expertise gets put to use across the board.
Some of the key things that stand out:
+ You'll be involved in high-level review and approval of test procedures across U.S., Canadian, and international standards (UL, CSA, IEC, etc.)
+ There’s flexibility to represent the company externally in technical forums and help drive future compliance standards
+ It's not just oversight — this person gets hands-on with fixture design, staff training, and technical assessments
+ Bonus if you’re already a qualified reviewer or mandated reviewer for product safety standards
If you're looking for a position where your deep knowledge of standards and systems actually gets put to work in meaningful ways — not just tucked behind a desk — this could be worth a conversation.
If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now or email your resume to [email protected].
Looking forward to connecting with you about it!
