Our client, a Fortune 500 advertising company, is seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant to join their team. As a Sr. Tax Accountant, you will be part of the Tax Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Senior Tax Accountant

**Location:** Omaha, Nebraska (Hybrid)

**Salary Range:** $80,000 - $90,000/yr.

What's the Job?

+ Prepare and complete tax returns and reports for state, local, property, sales, and other tax liabilities.

+ Maintain current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company and ensure compliance.

+ Participate in tax audits and assist with financial statement audits of tax-related items.

+ Drive the preparation and analysis of various tax-related projects, including process improvements and automation.

+ Provide oversight on unclaimed property reporting and escheatment.

What's Needed?

+ BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field is required; MBA/CPA/CMI is a plus.

+ 3+ years of accounting experience with multi-state sales and property tax filing (Sales/use tax reporting in 25+ states)

+ NY commercial rent tax and misc. Business tax experience

+ Gross receipt tax and property tax experience

+ Proficient in key tools such as Excel, Word, SAP, and tax systems like Vertex and Diagnostax.
