    Job Title: MFH-SOS Program Trainer

     

    Summary – This is a contingent Opportunity and would begin work upon the contract award

     

    Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. is seeking qualified, trained, and capable individuals to serve as candidates for Program Trainers supporting the Army National Guard.

     

    The Army National Guard (ARNG) Military Funeral Honors (MFH) program renders professional military funeral honors, in accordance with service tradition, to all eligible veterans when requested by an authorized family member. The ARNG is a geographically dispersed force whose members do not have the benefit of installation-based support for MFH and caring for survivors of our fallen heroes. The MFH program has developed a comprehensive network within communities which quickly responds to the needs of Family of deceased Service members. Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) is part of the Army Casualty Continuum of Care, designed to provide long-term support to surviving Families of Fallen Soldiers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Develop, manage, and provide training necessary to develop and maintain a high level of proficiency of the MFH and SOS Coordinator staff.

    + Research and develop subject-specific content in collaboration with internal and external customers.

    + Conduct new hire onboarding and provide program-specific, sustainment, and professional development training to MFH and SOS staff to ensure they are well-versed in standards, policies, and resources necessary in their respective roles.

    + Facilitate face-to-face and online training sessions including both conference and train-the-trainer events.

    + Monitor and track training completion and ensure accurate reporting of completion data.

    + Coordinate virtual MFH and SOS annual training events/conferences.

    + Assist with case transfers between components and from Casualty Mortuary Affairs Operations Division (CMAOD).

    Required Qualifications:

    + Associate degree plus 3 years’ relevant experience. Other combinations of experience and education that meet minimum qualifications may be substituted.

    + Five (5) or more years of experience in training and facilitation experience including live classroom training, conference facilitation and virtual facilitation via online meeting or webinar platforms.

    + Excellent oral and written communication skills to include professional face-to-face and online facilitation, training materials and customer correspondence.

    + Professional experience designing and developing instructional materials using industry-standard instructional design methodologies.

    + Experience working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is relevant and effective.

    + Prior training coordination experience to include conferences, events and/or large audience facilitation.

    + Knowledge of military lifestyle and protocols and ability to effectively interface and communicate with civilian and military personnel at all levels.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program objectives.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint.

    + Flexibility to support extended work hours as required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior experience working on MFH-SOS or similar contract providing survivor support services.

    + Prior experience with the US Army and working knowledge of the structure and operation of the ARNG.

    Other Requirements:

    + Must pass a pre-employment background check and be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 Clearance

    + This position requires access to U.S. Government facilities and systems. U.S. Citizenship, a valid driver's license, transportation, and auto insurance are required.

    + Local and distant travel will be required.

    Physical Demands: This individual works in office areas. Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. They use a personal computer, telephones, copiers, printers, and other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Employee must be physically and mentally able to perform all contractual duties, which may include transporting, lifting and setting up displays, and standing and walking during activities.
