    If you are **Manufacturing Manager** looking to grow, **COPELAND** has an exciting role for you! As the Manufacturing Manager for night shift in our Machining department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of night shift operations. We seek a motivated and proactive leader capable of managing 2nd and 3rd shift Machining operations with minimal direction. Your expertise will be vital in driving efficient production processes and upholding our high-quality standards. You will lead a dedicated team of four salaried supervisors and approximately 100 hourly employees. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will spearhead initiatives to optimize productivity, enhance operational performance, and foster a culture of collaboration and safety for the department.

    As A Manufacturing Manager You Will:

    + Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and hourly employees, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

    + Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.

    + Monitor production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize workflow.

    + Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime.

    + Lead shift meetings to communicate production goals, safety protocols, and updates to the team.

    + Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety awareness among all team members.

    + Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

    + Ensures all procedures, reporting, and policies are followed and has authority to directly address or correct any non-conformance. Completes or ensures proper paperwork, record-keeping, data entry.

    Required Education and Experience:

    + A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Shift Manager in a large, high-volume manufacturing environment; or with at least eight (8) years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a large, high-volume manufacturing setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving operational excellence.

    + Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.

    + Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.

    + Experience with lean manufacturing or similar continuous process improvement is preferred. Strong orientation for continuous improvement.

    + Demonstrated ability to collaborate well cross-functionally and work well at all levels of the organization.

    + Resourceful, proactive, high energy, results-driven.

    + Ability to work both independently and within a team, generating results with general/minimal guidance from management.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with manufacturing software and reporting tools.
