    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled **Civil Engineer (EIR Environmental Engineer 3)** to join our team and assist with projects in WV and PA.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and constructing a wide range of civil engineering projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering;

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania and/or West Virginia preferred;

    + Minimum 10 years of experience with design and permitting of site civil construction projects;

    + Ability to travel on occasion; and

    + Must possess a valid U.S. drivers license.

    Technical Requirements:

    + Strong technical knowledge of civil site design including: site grading, stormwater management design, and preparation of specifications;

    + Experienced with developing grading plans with AutoCAD Civil 3D;

    + Excellent interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills;

    Other Miscellaneous Qualities:

    + Ability to travel occasionally to project sites (approximately 25% of the time)

    + Hybrid work environment

    Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Lead the development, preparation, review and submittal of plans and specifications for site development and grading projects;

    + Development and/or review submittal packages, with a team of engineers and scientists, that include: grading plans, drainage facilities, details, calculations, erosion and sedimentation controls, and technical specifications suitable for submittal to regulatory agencies;

    + Prepare engineers construction cost estimates and assist with project proposals;

    + Complete site visits to evaluate proposed designs against actual site conditions;

    + Preparation of new details and design elements;

    + Communicate effectively and efficiently with project team members;

    + Provide general project support; and

    + Abide by Atlas’ health and safety policies and procedures.
