Reporting to the IT Manager, this position will work with PERSI staff to build stronger relationships with our members at every step of their retirement journey. A hybrid schedule (combination of in office and telecommute) may be available after the completion of the probationary period.

As a Software Engineer 1, you will:
+ Design, implement, and maintain workflow solutions and business applications to automate or simplify business processes.
+ Develop SQL queries and reports.
+ Determine and prioritize user requirements for software enhancements.
+ Perform configuration maintenance (document types, keywords, queries, autofills, etc.) in third-party Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system
+ Provide Tier 1 technical support and system administration for ECM system and integration middleware.
+ Provide Tier 1 technical support and file testing for PERSI employers pursuing transmittal file certification.
+ Configure and execute regression test routines using automated test scripts and perform basic problem resolution for test failures.
+ Evaluate, test, plan and implement modules, upgrades, and system changes in third-party software products.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Good knowledge of:
+ Multiple programming languages.
+ Software development processes.
+ One or more software development tool suites.
+ Software testing practices.
Experience:
+ Creating, interpreting and documenting user requirements.
+ Designing and developing business applications.
+ Testing, deploying, and supporting production systems.
