Description
The Global Fleet & Products (GFP) team is supporting Amazon's Last Mile operation, which includes our Delivery Service Partners (DSPs), Amazon Delivery Associates, and Flex Drivers. Amazon works directly with DSPs, Delivery Associates, and Flex drivers to make deliveries to our customers. We are looking for a Program Manager that will own new program development and deployment for Fleet Management as well as continuous process improvement. The Program Manager, Training Vehicles will focus on identifying and scaling processes related to the management, safety, and cost control of vehicles used for training purposes in Amazon's Last Mile operation.
** Travel expectations for this role will be approximately 10-15% depending upon permanent location
Key job responsibilities
- Lead, direct, supervise, and control the execution of business, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program
- Introduce new ways to manage Amazon-owned equipment
- Manage fleet management, operations, supply chain, or transportation.
- Drive planning, resolution, and execution with their team
- Define and measure internal and external performance standards
- Deliver features and services to drive continuous value to customers
- Monitor and report on the progress of all activity within the program area
- Work with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, operations, finance, and other business teams
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
