    The Sr. Product Marketing Manager for AWS Sustainability will be responsible for developing/maintaining crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling cross-portfolio positioning and messaging for AWS sustainability, leading related launches, and delivering core content, including customer and event presentations, webpages, and blogs, which can be leveraged across AWS and audiences. The role will work with AWS Global Sustainability, Amazon WW Sustainability, Public and Analyst Relations, Public Policy, and other teams to align and collaborate on messaging and positioning.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Own marketing for AWS Sustainability including key launches

    • Develop messaging & positioning for AWS Sustainability, use cases, value propositions, and marketing content, working in collaboration with related product marketers as needed.

    • Partner effectively with other groups such as Amazon Sustainability, engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, public relations, analyst relations, partner marketing, field marketing, and evangelists to drive marketing results

    • Craft and execute campaigns and leverage owned, earned, and paid channels to reach our customers and help grow their understanding and usage of AWS

    • Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences

    • Work at both the strategic and tactical level and champion bold and creative ideas

    A day in the life

     

    As Senior Product Marketing Manager for AWS Sustainability, you will have the opportunity to own and drive the marketing strategy to help customers build and run resilient, highly available applications in the AWS cloud. You will work with product and engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You will own creation of content that drives awareness, preference, and adoption of AWS, and scale our messaging through key launches and channels including the website, events, and more. You will partner cross-functionally with GTM, sales, training, and other counterparts to build the right marketing programs to drive customer engagement and service adoption. And you will own and drive the value propositions for operating on AWS that meet key customer use cases and convey AWS’s unique value.

     

    This role can sit in either of these locations only: Santa Clara, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA

     

    Relocation will be offered to these locations only from within the USA only.

    Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

     

    AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

     

    - Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

     

    - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

     

    - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

     

    - Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

     

    - Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
